This was very typical of the landscape on either side of us on the roads in Ladakh. This winter saw one of the heaviest snowfalls which Ladakh has seen in the last 4-5 years. In spite of temperatures ranging between -10 to -45 deg, Ladakh (a high altitude desert) does not get a lot of snowfall in most years

It is a non stop show see these snow monkeys meditating, playing and enjoying in the onsen. In fact there is a lodge with an onsen close to the park, where you can enjoy a hot dip with snow monkeys for company
