Bears and Tigers normally give a wide berth to each other but there have been occasional confrontations. A sloth bear can give a very tough fight to even a big male tiger often forcing the male tiger to retreat. We have seen two subadult males first chase a sloth bear into the dense undergrowth but a moment later the two subadult tigers ran out of the dense undergrowth with the bear in hot pursuit. In this particular instance, the famous tigress, Noor gave a wide berth to the bear

The male lion had just dragged a zebra kill into the bush. Normally male lions aren’t too fond of being disturbed at a kill and a cub for all its playfulness can get rewarded with a snarl or a light slap
A male lion looks at his brother mating with a lioness around 200 metres away. They presumably had fought over mating rights with the lioness and this male had lost out gaining a scar in the process.
The male lion was doing what he normally does the during the day- sleeping. Suddenly we saw a coalition of three male cheetahs in the distance making their way towards this lion. The Lion and the Cheetahs saw each other at the same time. We were positioned perfectly to get the lion running at full steam towards us as he chased the Cheetahs away
