Turn up the volume, put on your headphones and be one with nature as team GT brings you its seventh instalment of melodic sounds of nature from forests across the world.
Put your sounds on for this! What a beautiful speed breaker. We were driving through one of the most beautiful forests in India, Bandhavgarh National Park when this gorgeous tigress made us stop and stare. Dotty was calling out to her sibling, definitely one of the most beautiful sounds of nature..And our day was made.
This beautiful white tigress is fondly called Taibo and her sub adult son, Bird was refusing to leave her side. Cubs stay with their mother until 18-20 months before they become independent. Bird was already 24 months old and still very close to his mother. Team GT visited Tiger Canyon in South Africa where John Varty has been spearheading a programme with the single aim of creating an alternative population of wild tigers in Africa. He brought two tiger cubs from a zoo and helped re-introduce them into the wild. Their first cubs were born in the wild in 2008 and today there are 14 wild tigers which live in Tiger Canyon.
Team GT had the privilege to join Snow Monkeys -Japanese Macaques - for a pool party in the hot springs (onsen). Watch them entertain you with their musings, swimming, playing and also learn about them through this exclusive video from Japan!
RARE SIGHTING of a Black Panther and Leopard in Drumella estate in Tamil Nadu. This video was shared by GT contributor. the video was captured in their CCTV camera outside their house
Here are some of the cutest moments we have experienced in the wild.
CATWALK: This was a special one as #teamgt was following Spotty, the famous tigress of Bandhavgarh and we chanced upon her sub adult daughter walking right past our vehicle. She was marking her newly acquired territory...One more of our next gen of Tigers!
